Dr. Marc Hannah’s work in computer graphics resulted in his cofounding of Silicon Graphics, Inc. (SGI), a high-performance computing company that was responsible for the development of 3D special effects that were used across various industries, including the entertainment industry. Movies such as Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Jurassic Park, and Terminator 2 were but a few of the movies that used his technologies.

Fun Fact: SGI technology was used in Michael Jackson’s “Black or White” video.
