Dr. Valerie Taylor is the CEO and President of the Center for Minorities and People with Disabilities in IT (CMD-IT) and Director of the Mathematics and Computer Science Division at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Argonne National Laboratory.

Dr. Valerie Taylor is the CEO and President of the Center for Minorities and People with Disabilities in IT (CMD-IT) and Director of the Mathematics and Computer Science Division at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Argonne National Laboratory. The CMD-IT includes companies, higher education, and organizations that are dedicated to increasing representation in computing for Black, Latinx, and Native American people, as well as people with disabilities. In addition to various faculty positions, Dr. Taylor’s research in high-performance computing and dedication to diversity in STEM has earned her numerous global awards.
