Mrs. Annie Easley was a computer at the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA), the predecessor to NASA.

Mrs. Annie Easley began her academic career pursuing an undergraduate degree in pharmacy. However, after moving to Cleveland, Ohio, she began working as a computer at the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA), the predecessor to NASA. She later learned programming languages to study energy-conversion systems, including alternative power technology (including the technology used in the first hybrid vehicles).
