Ms. Ayodele Odubela is a data scientist working on driver risk mitigation at SambaSafety. She earned her M.S. in Data Science after transitioning to tech from social media marketing. Ms. Odubela has created algorithms that predict consumer segment, hockey goals, and the location of firearms using radio frequency sensors. She also co-authored the paper “EDNA: The Bullet Stopping Drone,” where her work on the machine learning models was central to the product. Ms. Odubela has given numerous talks on bias and mitigating risk in machine learning and is currently developing a book to help practitioners identify bias in their models.
